ADC Governorship Candidate Endorses Rivers We Want 2027 Dialogue

The Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dr. Gabriel Pidomson, has commended the Rivers We Want 2027 Governorship Dialogue as a platform for constructive engagement between governorship candidates and the people of Rivers State.

Pidomson expressed his support for the initiative during an engagement with the Rivers Peace Initiative (RPI) on Wednesday as preparations continue for the forthcoming dialogue.

The engagement provided an opportunity for RPI to brief the ADC candidate on the vision, objectives and structure of the dialogue, as well as the citizen-focused conversations being developed around the 2027 governorship election.

Pidomson expressed enthusiasm about the platform, saying it would provide governorship candidates with an opportunity to present their ideas, priorities and vision directly to the people of the state.

He also welcomed the participation of other governorship candidates, stressing the importance of open and constructive engagement with citizens ahead of the election.

The meeting was attended by the General Manager of Super 93.3 FM, Port Harcourt, Pastor Segun Owolabi.

According to the Rivers Peace Initiative, the Rivers We Want 2027 Governorship Dialogue is designed to provide a fair and inclusive platform for citizens to raise issues affecting them and hear directly from candidates seeking their mandate.

The RPI appreciated Pidomson for his time and openness during the engagement, and expressed its readiness to continue consultations with stakeholders across the political spectrum ahead of the dialogue.
